About the role#
ChromoLogic LLC is hiring a Lab Assistant Intern to support research and development efforts in our Monrovia facility. You will work alongside scientists and engineers to assist with daily operations and experimental activities. This is a part-time, paid position with a flexible schedule of 30 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine lab tasks while following safety guidelines and protocols.
- Assist with sample preparation, reagent formulation, and setting up experiments.
- Collect, record, and organize experimental data with high accuracy.
- Maintain lab cleanliness, organize inventory, and care for equipment.
- Document procedures, observations, and test results to ensure clear recordkeeping.
- Work with team members to reach project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A basic understanding of lab safety and standard procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
