About the role#
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking interns to gain hands-on experience supporting marketing initiatives that educate and engage communities. This is an unpaid, rolling internship designed for students to build a professional portfolio while working alongside experienced professionals. Projects vary based on department needs and student interests.
What you'll do#
- Create, write, edit, and proofread original content for websites, newsletters, brochures, social media, and printed materials.
- Support social media strategy by developing content, creating graphics, and monitoring engagement.
- Assist with multimedia projects, including photography, videography, and video editing.
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external events, including logistics and promotional materials.
- Design digital and printed marketing materials that align with brand standards.
- Research communication trends and marketing best practices to support outreach initiatives.
- Assist with website updates, campaign reporting, and administrative project support.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, digital media, journalism, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated interest in writing, social media, graphic design, or digital marketing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.
