About the role#
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking an intern for the Winter 2027 semester. This unpaid position supports the Prevention department. You will work on-site in Bloomington, Illinois, and engage with the local community.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate training events for the coalition and the community.
- Collect and analyze data.
- Manage social media accounts and update the website.
- Write and develop newsletters.
- Conduct community outreach and prepare materials.
- Research evidence-based practices.
- Support Naloxone education and distribution efforts.
- Assist with Primary Prevention Coalitions and Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) Councils.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active undergraduate or graduate student.
- You are self-directed and comfortable engaging community stakeholders.
- Experience in recovery is preferred.
