About the role#
The Speech Language Intern supports the educational program at Cherry Creek School District. You will work with students to address communication disorders and help them reach their goals. This role involves working alongside special education teams, teachers, and parents to provide consistent intervention.
What you'll do#
- Assess and provide intervention for students with communication disorders.
- Track progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Work with English language learners to provide necessary support.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Collaborate with staff, administrators, and families to solve problems.
- Participate in a professional learning community.
- Provide both small group and individual services.
- Assist with assessments and intervention strategies to ensure student success.
What you'll need#
- Current license or endorsement in the appropriate content area.
- Proficiency in using technology.
- A Colorado driver license.
- A Colorado Special Services Provider (SSP) Internship Authorization is required if you plan to substitute teach during the internship.

- This is a part-time, on-site role based in Englewood, Colorado.
- The position follows a rolling term.
