About the role#
This internship provides insight into the public accounting profession and helps build a foundation for your career. You will work on various client engagements under multiple supervisors and gain practical experience using firm technology. The role involves social functions such as team outings, community service projects, and office lunches.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm tools.
- Shadow tax professionals at various levels of the organization.
- Participate in team building activities and training sessions.
- Complete and present a marketing or research project.
- Assist multiple supervisors with diverse client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program, with two years remaining until graduation.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites, including frequent same-day travel.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred, though not required.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
