About the role#
This Summer 2028 Tax Internship provides an introduction to the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements to build a foundation for your career.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals at various levels of experience.
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
- Engage in team building and training initiatives.
- Join social functions including lunches, happy hours, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program, with graduation expected in two years.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites, including frequent same-day travel.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred but not required.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without firm sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Austin, Texas.
- The pay range for this position is $30 to $40 per hour.
