About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Summer 2028 Tax Internship based in Chicago. You will gain insight into the public accounting profession while working alongside tax professionals. This role involves performing client work, using firm technology, and participating in team initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client engagements under the guidance of multiple supervisors.
- Shadow tax professionals at various levels of the firm.
- Participate in team building, training, and professional development sessions.
- Complete a marketing or research project and present your findings.
- Attend social functions, including happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer systems and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including same-day travel.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
