About the role#
Cherry Bekaert is hiring a Financial & Accounting Outsourcing Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position located on-site in Atlanta, Georgia. You will join our advisory team to support client projects, conduct financial analysis, and assist in improving accounting processes.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and perform qualitative analysis for team and client presentations.
- Perform quantitative analysis using tools such as MS Excel.
- Create accounting workflow and process flowcharts for current and recommended systems.
- Develop accounting policies and procedures documentation for client businesses.
- Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statement reconciliations.
What you'll need#
- Current standing as a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to act as a leader.
- Professionalism and confidence when interacting with team members and clients.

- Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
