About the role#
As an Audit Intern at Cherry Bekaert, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a foundation for your career. You will work for multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements and participate in team building and training initiatives. This is a paid, full-time internship.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow audit professionals at various levels.
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
- Attend social functions, including lunches, happy hours, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or business administration program, with graduation expected in two years.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites, including frequent same-day travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
