About the role#
This internship focuses on supporting water treatment operations. You will maintain the performance of assigned customer accounts by monitoring and adjusting water treatment programs. You will work closely with account managers and plant operators to ensure customer systems meet contractual requirements and operate efficiently.
What you'll do#
- Visit assigned accounts to perform water treatment analysis and inspect equipment.
- Inspect customer systems according to contractual requirements.
- Build relationships with customers and interface with plant operators.
- Maintain company equipment in clean, working condition.
- Communicate delivery and system issues to the appropriate departments.
- Calibrate pumps, repair chemical feeds, and monitor product feed rates.
- Document results in software and service reports.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma required. College-level chemistry or a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Ability to pull water samples, run analysis, calibrate probes, and repair chemical feed pumps.
- Experience with chemical and hydrocarbon processing is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and maneuver drums weighing 250 to 800 pounds.
- Capability to work in various environments, including boiler houses and outdoor cooling towers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid position based in Washington, District of Columbia.
- The role operates on a rolling basis.
