Security Research Internship

About the role#

We are seeking security research interns to join our security research team. You will explore a wide range of topics, including malware analysis, vulnerability detection, network anomaly detection, mobile app analysis, reverse engineering, and fraud detection.

What you'll do#

• Develop analysis tools to facilitate security discovery and design mitigation techniques to deter security threats.
• Review system implementation of sandboxes, virtual machines, network modules, and critical distributed systems.
• Perform vulnerability discovery and develop proof-of-concept exploits for large distributed system implementations.
• Publish research findings in relevant academic and industry venues.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience in vulnerability discovery and exploitation on web applications or system software.
• Proficiency in WASM, Rust, or Go development is considered a plus.
• Participation in Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions is considered a plus.

• This is a full-time, paid internship.
• Positions are available on a rolling basis.
• Work modality includes both remote and on-site options.
• Locations: New York, NY; Seattle, WA; and the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
