About the role#
This position focuses on developing an intelligent AI agent powered by large language models (LLMs) to enhance security audit tools in the blockchain space. You will work with the blockchain security team to bridge academic research with practical applications. Your work involves designing, fine-tuning, and integrating AI agents that automatically analyze smart contracts to identify potential vulnerabilities. You will explore new methods to improve threat detection and risk assessment, contributing directly to more secure blockchain infrastructures.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the blockchain security team to design and implement an LLM-based AI agent for security audit tools.
- Experiment with novel AI techniques to enhance threat detection and risk assessment in blockchain environments.
- Transform research on AI agents into practical, scalable security auditing solutions.
- Research emerging trends in LLMs, AI agent architectures, and cybersecurity, and propose improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on machine learning, natural language processing, or cybersecurity.
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures, such as transformers, and hands-on experience in training or fine-tuning these models.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and smart contract development is considered a plus.

- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is remote, with a primary office location in New York, New York.
