About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you will serve as a key member of our apartment community in Charlottesville. You will report to the General Manager and handle daily leasing, marketing, and resident relations tasks. This is a part-time position requiring 20 to 25 hours per week, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and conduct property tours while highlighting community features.
- Manage the full leasing cycle, including processing applications, securing deposits, and handling move-in and move-out paperwork.
- Respond to phone calls and in-person inquiries, maintain guest cards, and follow up with prospects.
- Assist with lease renewals, accept rental payments, and prepare apartments for new residents.
- Support marketing initiatives and participate in weekly leasing meetings.
- Monitor market conditions and provide insights for community improvements.
- Plan resident functions, manage service requests, and maintain accurate commission records.
- Ensure the office and model apartments remain clean and open on schedule.
- Enforce community policies and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Participate in the turn process and support the broader community team.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and online databases.
- Resilience, adaptability, and cultural diversity awareness.
- Ability to maintain open communication with the General Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

- Work Modality: On-site.

- Compensation: $12.75 per hour.
