About the role#
CenCore is looking for a part-time HR Intern to join our team in Springville, Utah. This role provides administrative support to our HR department and offers an opportunity to gain experience in various human resources functions. You will work closely with our staff to ensure our internal processes run efficiently.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates.
- Maintain and update employee records while ensuring data accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute HR documents like offer letters and company policies.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Support training and development initiatives.
- Organize employee engagement events.
- Answer general HR questions from employees.
- Assist with benefits administration and track attendance, leave, and time-off requests.
- Help with HR reporting, data analysis, and file maintenance.
- Work with the team to ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Participate in projects to improve HR processes and support an inclusive work culture.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous HR experience or internships are helpful but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and a team-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.
