About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides an immersive experience within the Ready-Mix division. You will gain exposure to core functions including cement manufacturing, process improvement, quality and reliability, equipment maintenance, and data management. This is a full-time, on-site role that balances office work with fieldwork in varying environmental conditions.
What you'll do#
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols.
- Manage challenging projects that provide a comprehensive view of Ready-Mix operations.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals to solve real-world problems.
- Develop technical and soft skills through hands-on work.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve current processes.
- Present your project outcomes to the leadership team.
- Build a professional network across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Concrete Industry Management, Construction Science Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- At least junior year standing.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Previous experience from internships, co-op programs, or university projects.
