About the role#
This 10-week internship program provides an immersive experience within the Ready-Mix division. You will gain exposure to core functions including cement manufacturing, process improvements, quality and reliability, equipment maintenance, and data management. This is a full-time, on-site role that runs during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

- Present project outcomes and findings to the leadership team.

What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Concrete Industry Management, Construction Science Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- At least junior year standing in your academic program.
- A GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities, including the capability to present ideas clearly.
- Previous experience from internships, co-op programs, or university projects.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Location: Birmingham, Alabama.
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
