About the role#
This internship provides an immersive experience within the Cement division. You will gain hands-on exposure to core functions such as manufacturing, process improvements, quality, reliability, equipment maintenance, and data management. This is a full-time, 10-week program designed to help you build technical and professional skills through real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols.
- Engage in challenging projects related to cement operations to solve real-world problems.
- Work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
- Develop technical and soft skills through hands-on learning.
- Share project outcomes and findings with the leadership team.
- Build professional connections with peers and industry experts.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic/Manufacturing, or Mining/Materials Science Engineering.
- At least junior year standing.
- A GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in the heavy or manufacturing industry is preferred.

- Location: Demopolis, Alabama.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
