About the role#
This 10-week internship program provides hands-on experience within the Health and Safety division. You will work as an Internship Development Professional to gain a deep understanding of safety systems, industrial hygiene, and occupational health. The role involves a mix of office work and fieldwork, requiring you to navigate various environmental conditions.
What you'll do#
- Implement safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Manage challenging projects related to Health and Safety operations.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals to solve real-world problems.
- Identify root causes and review risk assessments.
- Share project outcomes with leadership to refine your presentation skills.
- Develop innovative solutions to improve current processes.
- Build professional connections across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a similar field.
- At least junior year standing.
- A GPA of 2.5 or above, with a preference for 3.0 or higher.
- Around 2 years of relevant experience through co-ops, placements, or previous internships.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in Construction Management or Industrial Safety is a plus.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 or Summer 2028.
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Status: Paid, full-time position.
