About the role#
As a Student Intern for SCM Data Science, you will join a team focused on developing data-driven solutions for the Strategic Sourcing and Source to Contract organizations. This 16-month internship offers the opportunity to work on projects related to Cost Productivity, Price Productivity, and First Quote Competitiveness.
What you'll do#
- Engage with cross-functional business partners to support analytics projects.
- Build and maintain data pipelines by gathering, organizing, cleaning, and preparing data for modeling.
- Support and maintain Machine Learning models for business users.
- Develop dashboards and recurring reports to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ensure all work is well-documented and version-controlled.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university internship program, specifically completing your 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program.
- Major in Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in Python and relational SQL databases.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, Google Cloud Platform, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with Auto ML tools and Machine Learning algorithms.
- Ability to quickly learn new languages, tools, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts is considered an asset.
