About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience in downstream process development at our Madison facility. You will work with a team focused on evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve our purification processes. The role involves direct participation in laboratory experiments and process improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Support downstream process development through purification experiments and technology evaluations.
- Collect, analyze, and document experimental data while maintaining accurate and compliant records.
- Contribute to laboratory operations and process development systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present project updates.
- Adhere to safety, quality, compliance, and 5S standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Eligibility to work legally in the United States.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the 12-week summer term.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship located in Madison, Wisconsin.
- The term takes place during the summer of 2027.
