Finance Intern

About the role#

Carson Group is seeking a Finance Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Sarasota, Florida. The role focuses on supporting wealth advisors and planners by managing client documentation, analyzing financial data, and ensuring operational efficiency.

What you'll do#

• Prepare client review materials and draft necessary paperwork.
• Ensure client accounts are accurately established and maintained.
• Deliver professional client service and handle communications promptly.
• Analyze financial planning data to support advisor recommendations.
• Coordinate with the operations team to resolve issues and complete follow-ups.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and client events as required.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to high-quality client service.
