As a Client Acquisition Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry by focusing on prospecting, lead engagement, and sales process coordination. This role offers exposure to the full client lifecycle, including pre- and post-appointment support, while providing insight into how sales and marketing strategies function within a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Apply call scripts to engage prospective clients through outbound calls and follow-ups.
- Assist with pre-appointment preparation to ensure readiness and value delivery.
- Support post-appointment follow-up, scheduling, and meeting confirmations.
- Participate in strategy discussions to understand campaign development and provide input on outreach efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and follow-up actions within CRM and sales tools.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, for communication and organization.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Marketing.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in financial services, sales, or client acquisition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships and engage professionally with prospective clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Omaha, Nebraska.
- The internship term operates on a rolling basis.
