Finance Intern

About the role#

The Finance Intern will support wealth advisors and planners by preparing client review materials, drafting documentation, and maintaining accurate client accounts. This role involves analyzing financial planning data to assist with recommendations and ensuring professional, responsive communication with clients. This is a paid, on-site internship.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and organize materials for annual client reviews and gather necessary planning documents.
• Draft new account and maintenance paperwork while tracking the status of forms, signatures, and transfers.
• Analyze financial planning scenarios under the direction of advisors and summarize findings.
• Coordinate with the operations team to resolve issues and complete follow-up tasks.
• Attend client meetings and firm events to capture notes and assist with post-meeting action items.
• Participate in daily advisor huddles and team meetings to align on priorities.
• Complete required training and continuing education to expand knowledge of financial planning tools.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality client service.
• Ability to work in an office-based environment.
