About the role#
Engineering Interns gain hands-on experience within production facilities across the United States. This program provides exposure to both technical and people-management aspects of engineering, with opportunities to focus on production leadership, maintenance, and reliability. Interns participate in a 12-week program during Summer 2027 designed to develop leadership skills and professional networks.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience leading production or maintenance teams, project groups, or technical operations.
- Engage with teams to improve processes and optimize assets related to production.
- Lead short and long-term planning activities, including weekly maintenance tasks.
- Participate in daily production management meetings.
- Supervise specialized teams and work activities related to runtime.
- Work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment that may involve physical activity, such as bending, stooping, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, BioChemical, Mechanical, Biosystems, Agricultural, Electrical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering, Packaging, or a related discipline.
- Degree completion expected between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on a student visa or third-party sponsored visa.
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Geographic flexibility and willingness to relocate for the internship.
- Ability to complete a 12-week program during Summer 2027.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- Positions are located at various plant facilities across the United States.
- Compensation ranges from $25.70 to $35.50 per hour, depending on graduation date and eligibility.
