About the role#
CareStar is seeking a Rising Star to join our Support Services department. This internship is for high school students interested in healthcare and social services. You will work directly with individuals to assess their needs and connect them with essential in-home health services.
What you'll do#
- Assist individuals in obtaining community-based in-home health services.
- Coordinate the Support Services Pool to ensure effective scheduling of assessments.
- Provide support services to both internal and external clients.
- Participate in and occasionally lead cross-training efforts to support departmental projects.
What you'll need#
- A commitment of one year to the program.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and general computer skills.
- Self-motivation and an eagerness to learn.
- Interest in fields such as Public Health, Health Administration, Sociology, or Psychology.

- This position is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- This is an on-site, part-time, and paid internship.
