Configuration and Data Management Analyst Co-Op

About the role#

The Configuration and Data Management Analyst Co-Op provides support to the C-130H Aircrew Training System program. This role focuses on implementing software, hardware, and contract configuration practices in accordance with government and industry standards to maintain the integrity of program documentation and software. You will report to the Training Systems Support Center Configuration and Data Manager.

What you'll do#

• Track, report, and ensure the archive and retrieval of all C-130H Aircrew Training Device software, hardware, and data product baselines.
• Input and maintain information used to develop data management metrics for contract deliveries.
• Edit and merge documents, convert files to specified formats, and record information to control technical data.
• Participate in Physical Configuration Audit preparations, conduct, and follow-up activities.
• Administer corrective actions resulting from identified deficiencies.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Data Science, or current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program.
• Minimum of 2 years of configuration and data management experience.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Working knowledge of Apache Subversion configuration management software.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to develop software and data management documentation.
• Eligibility for a DoD Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required due to government contract requirements.
