Software Engineering Intern

About the role#

Cadence is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join a research and development environment focused on solving complex technical challenges. This role involves working on AI/ML projects and requires strong analytical and debugging capabilities.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to research and development initiatives.
• Engage in rapid prototyping for open-source AI/ML projects.
• Apply analytical thinking to debug and solve technical problems.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SciKit.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Experience working with LLM APIs and integrating them into applications.
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, computer vision, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with C++ is considered a plus.
