About the role#
Cadence is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join a research and development environment focused on solving complex technical challenges. This role involves working on AI/ML projects and requires strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to research and development initiatives.
- Engage in rapid prototyping for open-source AI/ML projects.
- Apply analytical thinking to debug and solve technical problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and LLMs.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SciKit.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
- Experience working with LLM APIs and integrating them into applications.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, computer vision, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with C++ is considered a plus.
