About the role#
As a Cyber Security Engineer Intern, you will join our team during the Summer of 2027 to help protect our global logistics platform. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside an experienced engineer who provides guidance and feedback. This program offers rotational assignments across our Security Operations (SOC) and Application Security (AppSec) teams, allowing you to explore multiple cybersecurity disciplines while contributing to real business projects.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, plan, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot our security posture.
- Assist with security operations, including incident response, threat hunting, and phishing analysis.
- Support application security through vulnerability management, secure code reviews, and penetration testing.
- Monitor and triage suspicious or malicious activity and alerts.
- Recommend security controls and procedures for system development and change management.
- Implement and work with security technologies such as firewalls, AV systems, IDS, IPS, and web content filters.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Understanding of security engineering best practices, including secure development, cryptography, network security, and incident response.
- Innovative problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team-first mentality and an appreciation for a diverse and inclusive work environment.
