About the role#
Bridor North America is offering a paid Quality Assurance and Quality Control externship at our Vineland, New Jersey manufacturing facility. This program is open exclusively to students currently enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) who are eligible for a Spring 2027 externship. You will work directly with our Quality Assurance team to gain hands-on experience in food safety, regulatory compliance, and bakery manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform raw material inspections and monitor in-process production.
- Conduct evaluations and testing on finished products.
- Help maintain quality documentation and keep accurate records.
- Participate in internal audits and review Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform environmental monitoring and testing.
- Analyze quality trends and track key performance indicators.
- Support Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why and 6M methodologies.
- Assist with Corrective Action Requests and CAPA activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA).
- Eligibility to participate in a Spring 2027 semester externship.
- Availability from January 5, 2027, through April 16, 2027.
- Studies in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, Food Business Management, Applied Food Studies, or a related program.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- An interest in food manufacturing, food safety, and quality systems.
- Ability to work in a production environment.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 16, 2027).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
