About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering student to join our test lab team in a year-round, part-time capacity. You will support product development and prototype build activities for electro-mechanical engine actuators and systems. This role is based on-site in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and requires authorization to work in the United States.
What you'll do#
- Support the test engineering team with test setup and execution.
- Manage test requests and complete assigned lab work orders.
- Assist in collecting data and analyzing test failures.
- Participate in equipment testing setup.
- Help with prototype component build activities.
- Follow the Global Star Safety Program, including all safety rules and training, to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
- An inquisitive nature and the willingness to ask questions.
- Ability to take initiative and use available resources.
- Good communication skills and an organized approach to tasks.
