About the role#
The IT Technician Intern supports the desktop environment and local business systems at our Arden facility. You will help bridge the gap between plant personnel and Central IT, ensuring that service delivery meets established quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical troubleshooting and customer service to keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Track Service Delivery tickets to connect plant staff with Central IT.
- Configure new and existing hardware to meet corporate deployment standards.
- Install and troubleshoot desktop applications.
- Manage software licenses and version control.
- Support the setup of processes related to Service Management.
- Provide on-site assistance for printers, security systems, and audio-visual equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience or a clear understanding of a manufacturing environment.
- Strong focus on customer service and effective delivery.
- Ability to work alongside outside vendors and partners.
