About the role#
The Summer Games is an internship program that simulates a startup accelerator environment. You will join a team to develop a solution for a complex customer problem. The program focuses on technical skill development and collaboration, culminating in a Challenge Cup competition where you present your work to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Develop solutions for complex, multidimensional customer problems.
- Build technical skills using company products and engagement models.
- Work within a collaborative team environment.
- Receive mentorship from senior leaders.
- Participate in a final Challenge Cup presentation.
What you'll need#
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms through academic work or internships.
- Experience conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and design artifacts.
- Ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics by Summer 2028 or 2029.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
