About the role#
This internship supports the development of new aircraft. You will work within the project engineering team to plan, track, and execute development projects. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You must be a current student to qualify for this role.
What you'll do#
- Build project schedules and support implementation plans.
- Monitor project progress to ensure targets are met.
- Assist the Project Engineer with performance tracking and reporting.
- Prepare business cases and budgets to support decision-making.
- Maintain project timelines, databases, and documentation.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners.
- Identify project risks and develop solutions.
- Attend product development meetings to observe how priorities are established.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to explain ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities as a team player.
- Fluency in English. French language skills are considered a bonus.
- Previous experience in project management, budgeting, scheduling, aerospace, or manufacturing is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: St-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires working from the office 2 times per week).
- Duration: 8 months.
- Note: This role may require occasional travel outside of Canada for work or training purposes.
