About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will support the project engineering team working on new aircraft development. This role is based in Mississauga, Ontario, and operates on a hybrid schedule. You must be a current student available for a minimum of eight months.
What you'll do#
- Plan, track, and execute projects related to new aircraft development.
- Build project schedules and support implementation plans.
- Monitor project progress to ensure goals remain on track.
- Assist the Project Engineer with performance reporting and tracking.
- Prepare budgets and business cases to guide project decisions.
- Maintain project timelines, documentation, and databases.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners.
- Identify project risks and develop solutions.
- Participate in product development meetings to understand priority setting.
- Support team goals and manage key performance indicators.
- Create reports and presentations to practice your communication skills.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities.
- Ability to build positive working relationships within a team.
- Fluency in English (French language skills are a bonus).
- Prior experience in project management, budgeting, scheduling, aerospace, or manufacturing is considered an asset.
