About the role#
You will join the Ground and Flight Test Integration team at the Aerospace Product Development Centre. This internship focuses on the experimental validation of new technologies and the improvement of test program performance for future aircraft.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop test equipment and prototypes for advanced avionics and cockpit design laboratories.
- Produce drawings and specifications for electrical harnesses, circuit boards, mechanical assemblies, and aircraft component modifications for ground testing.
- Coordinate design and manufacturing tasks with test integrators and project managers.
- Plan, track, and control design schedules and costs, including identifying risks and defining mitigation strategies.
- Interpret technical requirements to create solutions that meet design criteria while managing costs and timelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program for electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
- Completion of a college technical program in mechanical or electrical engineering, or graduation from the École National d'Aérotechnique.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 or Autocad, with an ability to learn new software quickly.
- Basic knowledge of C++, C#, and Python programming.
- Comfort using hand tools to install mechanical parts and modify electrical wiring or circuit boards.
- Experience with laboratory instruments like sensors, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
- A good command of both French and English.
- A rigorous approach to planning, executing, and documenting tasks.

- Location: St-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (8 months).
- Work modality: Hybrid.
- This is a paid, full-time internship for current students only. Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
