About the role#
This internship provides exposure to immigration law, labor law, and global mobility within the aviation industry. You will work with the Legal Affairs team to manage immigration files, support business travel requirements, and assist with corporate governance activities. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and prepare applications for visas, work permits, and permanent residence.
- Draft legal documents including translations, affidavits, and legal opinions.
- Manage the CIC Employer Portal and maintain databases for work permit expiry dates.
- Correspond with government agencies to respond to audits and inspections.
- Assist business travelers with visa applications and registration procedures.
- Coordinate the certification, notarization, and legalization of documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare PowerPoint presentations.
- Support the team with privacy, labor, and employment law matters.
- Enter data and manage files related to Global Mobility.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a law program at a Canadian or American university.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills and experience with file management.
- Advanced IT skills.
- Ability to write professional correspondence and review legal documents.
- Capacity to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- High level of initiative and autonomy.
- Attention to detail and a desire to learn.
- Intercultural skills and international experience.

- Location: Dorval, Quebec, Canada.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Note: This role is open to students only, not new graduates. Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
