About the role#
This internship provides support for the integration of flight control, hydraulic, and landing gear systems. You will assist in the definition, design, analysis, modification, and certification of hydro-mechanical systems throughout the winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assess design changes and support the integration of hydro-mechanical systems.
- Review supplier documentation for design changes and provide feedback.
- Verify the quality of supplier tests and analyses.
- Prepare or review qualification and certification reports.
- Coordinate with departments including stress, loads, reliability, maintainability and safety, simulation, and customer support.
- Identify project obstacles and communicate progress on assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in a Canadian university pursuing Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong oral and technical writing skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- A sense of responsibility and good judgment.
- Experience with CATIA, Matlab, or Simulink is considered an asset.

- Location: Dorval, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- This is a paid, full-time internship open to students only. Occasional travel outside of Canada for training or work purposes may be required.
