About the role#
This internship focuses on green aircraft wiring systems. You will join the team in Mississauga for an 8-month term. The role is hybrid, and you may occasionally travel outside of Canada for training or work purposes. This position is open only to current students.
What you'll do#
- Test complex systems and document your observations.
- Update test rig configurations to match specific test plans.
- Attend cross-functional meetings.
- Build applications and macros using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Coordinate and communicate with various suppliers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for electrical or software engineering.
- Completion of at least 2 years of study or 60 credits.
- Experience with electrical schematics, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in a programming language such as MS Access, Visual Basic, or MS Excel.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to explain complex ideas clearly through reports and presentations.
- A proactive approach to proposing solutions and improvements.
