About the role#
Bombardier is hiring an Intern or Co-op Data Analyst to join our team in Red Oak, Texas. This is a paid, full-time position that follows a hybrid work model. We are looking for students who can support our operational goals through data-driven insights and process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to guide business decisions.
- Monitor KPIs and perform detailed analysis to spot trends and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain virtual dashboards and reporting tools.
- Identify non-value-added activities and suggest ways to improve current methods.
- Support the corrective action process and coordinate related activities.
- Prepare detailed presentations for technical reviews.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members across the organization and with regulatory agencies.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a technical degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a quality-related discipline.
- Expected graduation date between 2026 and 2028.
- Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and data collection to identify systemic issues.
- Experience with root cause and corrective action processes.
- Familiarity with tools such as DMAIC, 8D, 5-Whys, and Six-Sigma.
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to prepare detailed presentations.
