About the role#
This co-op position supports manufacturing operations at our Athens facility through data analytics and system reviews. You will work within the Transformation department to help identify trends and process improvements. You will contribute to project planning, documentation, and data-driven problem solving while collaborating with site stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Analyze manufacturing and business system data to find gaps or opportunities for improvement.
- Build data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Support workflow automation and system integration tasks using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and data needs.
- Document findings, assumptions, and project recommendations.
- Participate in project planning, including scope definition and milestone tracking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours; graduate students must have completed at least 9.
- Foundational experience or strong interest in IT and data-driven problem solving.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft tools like Excel, PowerApps, and SharePoint.
- Ability to interpret and summarize data with an analytical mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test and post-offer physical if required.
