About the role#
Boehringer Ingelheim is hiring a Pharmaceutical Sales Intern to join the diabetes sales team. You will work alongside experienced sales professionals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires on-site work for the full duration of the summer 2027 program.
What you'll do#
- Complete training and selling skills development programs.
- Engage with customers and participate in clinical discussions, including virtual engagements.
- Attend weekly conference calls with regional field sales to gain insights.
- Schedule appointments for sales colleagues and participate in in-service programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree student at an accredited college or university.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours; graduate students must have completed at least 9 credit hours.
- Major or minor in a related field.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and digital proficiency.
- Ability to analyze information and work effectively in a team.
- Ability to follow through on priorities.

- Term: May 17, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
