About the role#
As a Maintenance Reliability Co-Op, you will join the Maintenance Department at our Gainesville, Georgia facility. You will support the Maintenance and Reliability team by improving the quality and completeness of asset data within SAP. This role focuses on reviewing and updating Preventive Maintenance plans, Bills of Materials, and spare parts lists to ensure maintenance activities are standardized and efficient.
What you'll do#
- Review and update Preventive Maintenance plans for selected assets.
- Validate and improve equipment Bills of Materials in SAP.
- Create or update spare parts lists and material assignments.
- Identify critical spares and document your recommendations.
- Support data standardization and maintenance master data governance.
- Develop progress reports and final recommendations for future reliability improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited college or university.
- A major or minor in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Completion of at least 12 credit hours for undergraduates or 9 credit hours for graduate students.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to review technical documentation, including equipment manuals, P&IDs, and asset lists.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test and post-offer physical.
