    About the role#

    Boehringer Ingelheim is hiring a Data Product Operations Co-Op for our Animal Health headquarters in Johns Creek, Georgia. You will work within the Data Management department to bridge the gap between business needs and technical data solutions. This role focuses on analyzing data, documenting requirements, and ensuring our data products remain accurate and aligned with stakeholder goals.

    What you'll do#

    • Gather requirements and document user needs to support product development.
    • Analyze datasets to identify trends and validate assumptions.
    • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and track defects for resolution.
    • Create and maintain essential documentation like data dictionaries, feature descriptions, and workflow diagrams.
    • Build dashboards and reports to track product performance and usage.
    • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business teams to refine solutions.
    • Assist with backlog management, including writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
    • Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint planning.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
    • Completion of at least 12 credit hours for undergraduates or 9 credit hours for graduate students.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
