About the role#
Join the Material and Analytical Sciences department as a co-op for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Ridgefield, Connecticut, to support early biopharmaceutic decisions by analyzing PION and t-TIM datasets. This position involves applying predictive modeling to help bridge the gap between in vitro results and clinical outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Build an understanding of how dissolution and t-TIM data influence drug-product development.
- Compile, organize, and perform quality checks on PION, t-TIM, formulation, and clinical data.
- Analyze trends to identify relationships between formulation attributes and clinical outcomes.
- Use statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling under scientific guidance.
- Summarize your findings and present recommendations to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Completion of at least 12 credit hours for undergraduates or 9 credit hours for graduate students.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
- Experience with data collection, organization, and quality checks.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and visualization tools such as Python, R, JMP, MATLAB, or Excel.
- Basic knowledge of biopharmaceutics, drug dissolution, or gastrointestinal modeling is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test and post-offer physical.
