Administrative Assistant Intern (Co-op/Internship)

About the role#

As an Administrative Assistant Intern, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the financial and investment planning team. This role is designed to integrate you into the branch, where you will contribute to business objectives, build client relationships, and gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Provide administrative and operational support to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to provide insights.
• Independently resolve client complaints in a timely manner and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain the team schedule and calendar to coordinate client meetings and ensure office coverage.
• Assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives by tracking metrics and milestones.
• Support client interactions by preparing information for meetings and annual reviews.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an academic program with the intent to return to studies following the internship.
• Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Advanced knowledge of investment processes, procedures, and proprietary products.
• Relevant investment industry licensing for the designated jurisdiction.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Typically 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
