Administrative Assistant Intern

About the role#

This is a full-time, 4-month Administrative Assistant internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will provide administrative and operational support to the financial and investment planning team, helping to deliver an exceptional customer experience while contributing to branch business objectives.

What you'll do#

• Provide administrative support, including calendar management and office coordination.
• Identify process gaps, issues, and best practices by monitoring sales and service targets.
• Build and maintain client relationships through internal referrals and external marketing initiatives.
• Expand business growth potential through telemarketing and outbound calling.
• Provide information on investment products and services while resolving client inquiries.
• Prepare data for client meetings and annual reviews, including formatting reports and dashboards.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements to protect customer assets.
• Stay current with the investment services marketplace and industry regulations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary academic program with an intent to return to studies.
• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of investment processes, procedures, and proprietary products.
• Relevant investment industry licensing for the jurisdiction.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and collaborative skills.
