About the role#
Blinn College is hiring a student worker for the Bullock Computer Lab in Brenham, Texas. This is a paid, on-site position with rolling availability.
What you'll do#
You will support students, faculty, and staff with computer-related needs, including printing, presentations, and navigating ECampus. Your daily tasks include:
- Assisting users with lab resources and technology.
- Checking equipment in and out for student and faculty use.
- Cleaning and disinfecting workstations and equipment after use.
- Refilling printer paper and monitoring printers to ensure they stay running.
- Reporting equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the Lab Assistant.
What you'll need#
- A customer service orientation.
- The ability to assist others with technology needs.
- Availability to monitor the lab space and equipment.
- Current enrollment as a Computer Science major.
