About the role#
Black & Veatch is hiring a Construction Intern for Summer 2027. Based in Houston, Texas, this full-time role provides hands-on experience in the engineering, procurement, and construction industry. You will work directly with superintendents to support daily project operations and contribute to infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist superintendents with daily task completion.
- Prepare and manage daily reports.
- Coordinate material expediting and location tracking.
- Support the team with cost and progress reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university in a Construction, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management program.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter mindset with strong initiative and computer proficiency.
