    About the role#

    As a Structural Engineer Intern for Transmission Lines, you will contribute to infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience in engineering design and analysis. This full-time, paid internship takes place during the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside professional teams to turn technical concepts into real-world solutions.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the development of design specifications and contract drawings.
    • Perform engineering analyses and produce technical reports.
    • Prepare basic calculations for various projects.
    • Analyze systems using computer modeling software.
    • Organize and maintain project materials and technical references.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering program at an ABET-accredited university.
    • A preferred academic emphasis in Structural Engineering.
    • Completion of at least one design-focused course.
    • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including a background check and drug screen.

    Location & details#

    • This is an on-site, full-time position.
    • Office locations include Ann Arbor, MI; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; and Seven Hills, OH.
