About the role#
As an Operations Intern, you will contribute to projects that support our campus operations. This is an 11.5-week cohort experience designed to provide hands-on learning within the senior living industry. You will work alongside leadership to support efficiency and service initiatives while gaining practical experience in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Support operational data collection and reporting, including building basic dashboards and summaries.
- Observe and document frontline processes across various campus departments.
- Organize and maintain documentation to help standardize policies, procedures, and tools.
- Assist with project coordination by preparing trackers, meeting notes, and deliverables for leadership initiatives.
- Participate in campus rounds and help summarize observations and improvement opportunities.
- Support resident experience efforts by organizing feedback and tracking service recovery actions.
- Provide general administrative and communication support for operational priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in health administration or a related field, specifically in your Junior or Senior year.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel to any BHI Community during the cohort.
- Students pursuing a Master's in Healthcare Administration are preferred.
